Feraheme is a medicine administered through intravenous infusion for the treatment of patients who are iron deficient anemic with chronic kidney disease. Feraheme is a type of iron and helps raise hemoglobin and myoglobin levels in non-dialysis dependent patients.

After the initial dose, Feraheme may be administered three to eight days later.
